Free plan includes 15 minutes per day. Premium gives 24×7 access.

Yes. You can re-record the loved one's video at any time from Parent Mode. This updates your child's tutor with the latest appearance and voice of the loved one. It's a good idea to refresh it occasionally to keep the tutor feeling current.
YourGuru supports all subjects for your child's selected board and grade — across CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, and IB curriculums. During setup you choose your child's board / curriculum, grade, and subjects. The tutor then teaches exactly what your child's school teaches, nothing more and nothing less.
YourGuru supports major Indian languages — including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Assamese, Urdu, and more — with additional Indian languages being added continuously and English. You choose your child's preferred language during setup and the tutor teaches entirely in that language.
Yes. Premium supports 1 child, Family supports 2 children, and Extended Family supports 3 children. Each child gets their own personalised learning path, subjects, and tutor. Yes. YourGuru is built exclusively for children and operates in a fully closed, child-safe environment. There is no social interaction, no external links, and no access to the open internet. All content is moderated and curriculum-aligned. Parents control everything else from Parent Mode.
The tutor gives a short, calm, child-safe redirect and stops that unsafe thread. Depending on severity, the event is logged and shown to the parent in Parent Mode and an email notification will be sent to the parent.
Yes. YourGuru is built from the ground up with children's privacy as a non-negotiable. We comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act). Parents must create accounts and provide explicit consent before any child profile is created. Children cannot create accounts. We collect only what is necessary to deliver the service and we never sell data.
Parent Mode is your control centre inside the app. From here you manage child profiles, set subjects and grade, record or replace the loved-one video, view session history, track progress and syllabus completion, manage your subscription, and control all privacy settings. Children cannot see Parent Mode.
Yes, always. You can cancel from your Parent Mode dashboard at any time with no cancellation fee. After cancellation, your plan continues until the end of the current billing period then reverts to the Free plan. Your child's progress data is retained for 30 days after cancellation to allow re-activation. You can also request full data deletion at any time.
No. YourGuru is designed to complement your child's school education — not replace it. Think of it as daily personalised revision and doubt-clearing that happens at home, delivered by a face and voice your child already loves and trusts. It works alongside school, not instead of it.
